For a limited time only this booklet is available to registered Tamaskan owners (normally reserved for breeders and committee members)
In this brochure we go through each and every foundation dog used in the Tamaskan Dog Register breeding program, and list their qualities as well as their faults. We also cover some dogs in their pedigrees that are not registered Tamaskan.
This booklet is designed to show breeders what lies behind their dogs pedigrees, which will in turn help them decide which bloodlines to use to improve their breeding.
Includes never before seen photographs of the dogs in the Tamaskan history.
Please email me at Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | for more information.
This booklet is not available in e-book form to registered owners. |

Thanks Debby, I'll look into getting a copy! _________________ You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'Wow, you're right! I never would've thought of that!' |

Out of curiousity, why restrict the availability of this information to owners of registered Tamaskans?
As shown by the above posters, the brochure is clearly of interest to prospective Tamaskan owners who would like to become more educated about the breed.
As owners of an unregistered Tamaskan, my wife and I would also seriously consider purchasing it.
Obviously, the Register can restrict this information to whomever it chooses, but it certainly seems like it would be in the best interest of the breed (and the Register's coffers) to sell the brochure to anyone interested. |

The reason we keep a tight rein on who sees the information in this booklet is a very very long story. But you can trust me when I say it is in the best interest of the breed that we do not allow everyone to see it.
It is only recently we have allowed owners to see it, before that it was restricted to breeders only.
There is a new edition coming out soon hopefully with more information and pictures, this new booklet will be available to breeders only, but it is possible that after its release the old booklet will be available to all to buy.
This booklet is not going to mean much to you if you do not own a puppy or have no access to pedigrees or no knowledge of genetics.
It is more or less a list of faults and qualities in the foundation dogs and pre foundation dogs, many of whom you will not have heard about and are either no longer with us or are retired from breeding.
If anyone is curious about the lines of a pup they plan to buy then they can email me and I will do my best to give them as much information and support that I can.
Please note, this booklet does not contain any written history, it is just a list of dogs.
I have been trying for some time to get a book together telling a much more detailed history, but its on the back burner at the moment as I have lots of books, booklets, leaflets and articles to write for all the breed clubs I am involved with.
Be patient, more information on the breed will be coming......promise _________________

I guess my point is that if the booklet contains information that would be of interest to a non-breeder registered owner, it stands to reason that the information would both: (1) be equally as interesting to a non-registered owner; and (2) have some value to a prospective owner.
I'm not hung up on this by any means - it just seems like a curious decision (i.e., if there are reasons to restrict the information to breeders only, then do so; if you want to sell the information to non-breeders who are interested in knowing more about their dogs, then make it available to everyone). <shrug> |

The list whit dogs is that in an order of breeding lines? If so I would be very interested in it.(I like the knowledge of bloodlines and what happens in those lines, I also follow the lines of the CWD and the Saarloos) |
