Here are a few photo's of when she actually stopped for 2 seconds! She is very active and into everything!
She was well worth the wait, she's gorgeous, but hey I might be a bit biased! But to be honest they were all perfect I could have taken them all home!!

So cute!
Ok, I must admit that with all the postings of the puppy pictures today, my jealousy has risen (and continues to rise) to all all-time high. Haha.
Congrats on the new puppy! _________________ ~Arie

Well not sure about the rest of you, but only got woken at 1, 3 and 6 last night!
I even managed to sneak back to bed for a couple of hours until she needed feeding at 8!
She is good though as soon as I put her back in her crate she curls up on her heat pad and goes straight back to sleep!
Today i am going to try and leave her in her play pen to amuse herself while I have a shower! |

We had a great nights sleep and have done away with the crate etc. and devised a stair gate system and just let Elkie sleep alongside Steffi under our bed. Not a murmur. Using the puppy pads more often than not and wanted to go outside today as well. Posting some pics. this evening.
We're over the moon with her. Hope all going well with everyone else.

Hi Claire
We have the same issue with Onai he wee's for England, everytime he wakes up he needs to go out for a wee, so we find ourselves in the garden at godforsaken times of the morning, ice rain and wind joining in to make it more fun!!
If it makes you feel better, we will more than likely be up with Onai when you are up with Tala so we will be with you in spirit.... Tamaskan Puppy owner support group required I think!!!
But they are so worth it, I wouldnt change Onai for the world! _________________ Annette and Gary |

I'm so glad Onai is the same, I was beginning to think I was doing something wrong!
Shall I set up a thread as a Support Group for Slough Adoptees!?? Or can anyone think of a snappier title!! |

I think that's a lovely idea!
Elkie is weeing in the night but she's either going on the pads or the floor! and not waking us up. Glad all doing well!

Yes a great idea Claire.
Diesel wasn't too impressed with Icerain. He ran outside, barked at the rain, ran straight back in and peed on the kitchen floor. Cant blame him really. I am sure he thinks, 'oi, you putting me out in this cold, wet nasty stuff, and your rapping up in gloves and coat, and you want me to what? out here - you gotta be kidding'. LOL |

Right never done this before, so bear with me if it doesn't work!!
Today Tala got to explore part of the garden she hasn't been in yet, and I managed to record it (apologies for the wobbles in advance, it's not all bad and I'll practise more!).
What is their fascination with plants??!!

Thats brilliant claire.
She is such a cutie!!!
If she gets anything like Diesel, say good bye to all those plants. He has pretty much killed my Ballerina Fuchsia Bush. I love that plant also. LOL |

Tala is sooo cute! I want! I want! What a beautiful, spunky little girl. She's gonna be a handful you can tell. LoL But then I'm sure you wouldn't have it any other way. _________________ "Don't feel bad, It could be worse. You could be a worm. They live in the ground and eat dirt!" -- Anon |

When I took Tala to visit my brothers family the other day, I noticed how interested and curious she was in the kids toys that made a noise. So after some investigating I found a doggy noisy toy!
The toy arrived today and was a big hit, it kept her amused when I needed to get on with some housework today!

With all the noises she makes, can you tell which is her and which is the babble ball??!! |

ROFL! That is so cute! I remember when my cat as a little kitten... I bought a light up ball... every time you hit it it would flash. Did the cat like it? Nope. That silly little cat would rather play with a ball of paper. *Shakes head.* I liked the light up ball. Oh well.

I got it from Canine Concepts, here is the link below, they also do a talking ball, which I think is a bit cheaper!

I bought one at the local Pets at Home. It's so funny! At first Elkie was scared of it but now she's chasing it! The kids like it too! |
