Also in the first printing of "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" in the US version only, the Chief of Police's name was Fenris Ulf. The reprintings have since been changed back to Maugrim. I think in the old cartoon, his name was Fenris Ulf too. Now I'm showing my age |
Fenris is being portrayed as a villain in my story...and I purposely have both Odin and Fenris on opposite sides of the equation; there's also a pack named Ragnarok in there. There's some allusion to the Norse myth in my story. lol. Anyway, that's all for the spoilers... _________________ ~Arie

Hi Arie,
I've been trying to write the same novel for years. I suspect I'll never finish it and it's probably a load of barmy drivel to anyone else, but occasionally I get moments of mad creativity - usually about 2 in the morning when I know I won't sleep unless I get it out of my head.
Anyway it has nothing to do with wolves or dogs other than I have an ice hockey team in it called The Ice Pack. Their logo is a three-headed wolf - here we go on the mythology again!

I like the idea of a blue mane - that would be an interesting colourway for the Tamaskans!

Well, my story is still a WIP. Haha. I don't even have the first chapter written yet! But Tams are a source of my inspiration. And I know about those "moments of mad creativity".
Ah, "Fluffy" as a mascot, eh? Lovely. _________________ ~Arie

I like Blizzard and Aurora!
I was trying to think of snowy arctic names myself, but hubby won't let me change the one we've settled on. Boo! _________________ "Maybe tomorrow I'll wanna settle down." |

Not long for our little girl too!
I'm filled with a mix of great excitement and trepidation.
Must start to get the essentials soon! Any invaluable suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi from me too, Pete!
Great to see you on the forum again. We may possibly be getting littermates - ah well we shall see.
