I had the grand pleasure of picking up my AWESOME perfect precious new puppy from Tarheel today Laughing

Tarheel Rodanthe Wave "Wave" is absolutely positively beyond anything we could've hoped for..............just perfect.

Wave is a pretty big boy too.............tipping the scales at more than I would've imagined. I know there is not a scale on big/small for Tamaskan pups established BUT I was a lil' surprised how big my boy was! LOL I am sure nobody is going to believe me when I say he is only 8 weeks old.

Wave is settling in very nicely. He slept for 99% of the 2 1/2hr drive home. My Norwegian Elkhound & Australian Shepherd are still trying to figure out who & what he is.....they are both a lil' afraid of him at this point. He is soooo loving they are not really understanding "all those kisses" he wants to give them.

John & Tina, of course, were AWESOME too!

I am in absolute positive HEAVEN! To be continued............

Wave is the wolf grey pup and the red grey is Jockeys Ridge. They are brothers and soooo adorable. All the pups from the Tarheel litter look much alike.

Wave is going to be his pet name too. We had kicked aroud a few names but Wave appears to be the best fit. How big he is he is more like "Tidal Wave" Laughing

We am overjoyed that "Wave" has been everything you had expected from a Tamaskan and from us. Our daughter Kaitlyn was a bit taken back when she got home from school and he was gone. We told her that she would see him again as you were not far away from us.
We hope "Wave" continues to bring you happiness and joy.

The pups all look consistant in markings and they have beautiful striking colours..

I will definately bring him back to visit!!! Its not a bad drive at all. Not to mention Wave appears to do well in the car so far. His check up today had him at 17 lbs. My car however may not be big enough for him, lol.

He is doing so awesome with the potty training. We have not had 1 accident. I woke him up in the middle of the night to go outside....he promptly did his business and went back to sleep. I feel extremely fortunate to have this super duper loving pup!

He is a lil' charmer that is for sure....great personality to go with those good looks.

The name suits him well. I like the fact that it incorporates part of his registered name. Not to mention I don't think there is too many other dogs out there with the name "Wave". The name is as unique as he is Laughing

What can I say, all Tamaskans are extremely lovable - even their names. Haha!

Just be sure not to use the verbal command "wave" when you want to teach him the "wave hello/goodbye" trick. lol. He might get confused with his name. Wink

I have had a few comments in public about "what is he" and then followed by "wow, interesting name". Everyone has been taken aback by his size too.

The name fits his personality very well. I personally would have never thought of such a name......I must give the credit of his name to his Breeders (John & Tina @Tarheel).

He is a very very well behaved pup. I don;'t want to jinx myself on this but he has go to be the smartest pup I have ever had. He is doing brilliant on potty outside and sitting/laying on command.

I hope this isn't the "calm before the storm".....or should I say the "calm before the wave" Laughing

9 week pictures of WAVE. He is such a loving good boy. I can't believe how much he grew from week 8 to week 9, he's at 21lbs now. He has very long legs with 1 floppy ear Laughing

Wave's floppy ear was so darn cute BUT now does not exist Wink

I thought it was so ultra adorable with 1 ear up & 1 down.....and his name being Wave. His "down" ear has decided to fly high with the erect ear. My pups ears are rather large but he is still so extra lovable & cute. Soooo loving & sooo cute.

I am posting pic's from yesterday & today. It was rather shocking to me how his floppy ear was "so floppy" last Wednesday & is totally upright today. I do not understand such BUT it is what it is.............

PLEASE take note the pictures are not in the correct order.....the 3rd image is the "floppiest ear" and the 4th is a little more erect AND the 1st two stand. Laughing

Wave's intelligence continues to astound me. He is such an awesome pup and unbelievably intelligent. I hate to brag Embarassed

but I can't help it
