I would think his size is equal to Blazes growth during the same time. I think Blaze was 15lbs at 8wks, Wave was 16.4lb at 8wks. So thats probably were he gets his giant size right now. I'm not sure what Blaze weighed at 16 wks but I would think he was at a similiar weight.

Blaze balanced out too. So I think my Wave will follow the same path and slow down.

I just hope Wave isn't trying to grow into those ears of his Laughing

Wait till he gets to 3yrs old and you will see an enormous difference once he has matured. He looks lovely.

Wave at 21.5wks

I can't believe how tall my sweet boy is now.............he is weighing in at 60lbs too. Thank goodness, he has slowed that rapid growth down a notch or two. His coat color is getting lighter..........but his eye color is still changing on a daily basis Smile

He is the most lovable thing and is such a prankster. He loves to grab things out of the trash can beside the toilet & drop the items in one by one into the toilet............ We love, love, love him soooooooo much

Its strange with his color....which is typical Tamaskan Laughing

As a very young pup I just could not believe my Wave would be "wolf grey". Now it appears to be his reality to be a wolf grey Tamaskan. The red tones have faded..............and appear less each day.

The eye color is what still intrigues me, though. Light tan one day and something different a day later.

He is a beautiful boy and we could not love this BIG guy anymore than we do Laughing

Wave was the biggest of the litter at 8 weeks and probably is following Blazes growth pattern. I know from the forum that all the Tamaskans end up being similiar in the long run. He was an early developer, maybe? Laughing

I just had to take this opportunity to show my Wave with his house mates!

He arrived smaller than my aussie (Bug) and my norwegian elkhound (Tink).................I tried to warn them he would be bigger & they better be nice when he 1st arrived Laughing

My Bug looks like she has shrunk.............almost the size of a lap dog now? I use to think Bug was an averaged sized dog........Wave has made everything look smaller in our household Very Happy

His weight has stayed at 60lbs.............. He is very tall, long, & slender/lanky..... Laughing

And know the problem... I thought I had average sized dogs, and now all dogs look like miniatures next to Kal-le! Laughing

Kal-le is 75lbs...and 67cm to the shoulder. Wink

So they come even taller!
Magu is about 63lbs and a bit smaller.

Yes, ceramic tile.....& stainless appliances Smile

We replaced 80% of our flooring after we got Bug..........she destroyed the majority of our flooring & living room furniture in pratically 1 afternoon!!!!!!!! She is definately the shining example of "seperation anxiety gone wicked bad" and the example that we never give up on our pups Laughing

There is bad dog owners not bad dogs............ Our dogs love ceramic tile during the hot summer months. Chew factor is WAY down with ceramic tile Smile

Wave is UNBELIEVABLE! I love all our babies but our boy certainly knows how to stand out & get attention Smile

My sweet Wave is 25 weeks old today. He has almost grown into his super size ears......I should've realized that was a possibility when he was a cute lil' itty bitty tiny pup.

He is weighing in at 31.8kg & 66.04cm tall. He is a very big boy now Laughing

I just had Kana Ti', Wave's littermate in at the vet today. Her weight was 49 pounds = 22.3 kg. Being Kana is female I would expect her to be on the lighter side

How tall is she John? Tala is much smaller than Jasper and Onai, but not a fair comparison as they are both male. It would be good to compare her to another female.

Kana'Ti is 21 inches or 53.3 cm. For her age, I feel she is right in line and for her weight and height. She should turn out to be the size of Tundra at full development.
