Oh! How sweet! If you weren't on the other side of the country I'd swear you stole our Freyja.
Isn't that neat how they look so much alike?
She's beautiful. _________________ __________________

Sookie and Lola our Ragdoll cat are frenemies...one minute great friends and the next not so much-they love to antagonize one another. This is a great moment I captured where Sookie (can't believe she still fits in it) takes over the cat bed and Lola the cat is watching over her--not to happy about it.

Had to post one more, Sookie sure is spunky today and getting tall! Stood up on her hind legs and helped herself to this apple. She sure enjoyed carrying it in her mouth this afternoon! She was so proud!!

Haha! Thats too cute! Wyatt thinks he is sneaky as well, constantly jumping up to look for things! He must spend about an hour a day searching for socks, twigs, food (and by food, I mean anything he is NOT supposed to eat!) |

First camping trip at 15 weeks. Sookie jumped right into the freezing river, camped, hiked, ate snow and then passed out! Too much fun for one day?!

Great pictures at 15 weeks. You should submit a pic or two for the on-line Tamskan dog showing. Jennie at the TSGB runs it and it is all for fun. _________________ John

|
|
It has been a big week! Summertime in Seattle makes for beautiful weather and lots of watermelon-Sookie was very happy to have her first slice!
Tonight she graduated from puppy kindergarten--we such proud pup parents!
All the excitement means it is time for a nap with her new toy!

hahah I like the watermelon photo! What kind of stuff did you do in puppy school? We have Wyatt taking some basic classes to go over things like leash walking, stay, wait, come, settle, etc. He is a very quick learner, but he also tends to pick and chose when he wants to listen! |

Puppy school was great, she learned sit, down, stay, leave it, come, and some basic tricks-crawl, shake and we are still working on bow (though we are calling it yoga as to not confusion it with down). It was a great in teaching her manners, but also in socializing her and giving her time to P L A Y --she loves that word! It was a lot of fun and we are going on Sunday to check out the next level class-
Sookie is very much like Wyatt in that she can do it all and learns quickly, but decides when she wants to and when she's had enough and at that point just flops down on the ground and doesn't move. The trainer suggested we click our clicker whenever she does this and touches her head to the ground to teach her "play dead". She is too funny! |

did she like it? We've been holding off taking Freyja in a canoe--probably still too willing to jump in after the herons and fish...haha!

At first I am not sure Sookie knew what to think of the boat. I held her on my lap, but after awhile (she got her sea legs), she was running back and forth from the back end of the boat to the front end to smell and check out what was happening around her. Was too much fun! |

Great pictures. Looks like you had a great time.
We took Diesel out on to the sea a few days ago. He loved it. Enjoys a swim and munching cuttlefish bones. hmmm.
Ill upload the shots in a day or so. |

|
|
Leave it to a Tamaskan to help you feel better! I have been a bit under the weather this week and yesterday awoke to Sookie playing with her new toy. I couldn't help but laugh and tried to capture her on tape. She knew I was there so I didn't get her playing on her own on camera-squeaking her new toy and as it let out its long s-q-u-e-a-k she would accompany it with howling. Gotta love it. Here is a short video of her howling with her toy, with a little help from me making it squeak!
