We took Elkie to the above today and the Wolf Conservation Trust were there. Several people looking at the wolf they had there asked about Elkie and she got quite a lot of interest as we walked about. The wolf there was beautiful and the Trust is very near to me so I think I will be going along to visit. The Siberian Husky Welfare and Rescue were there too and there was a gorgeous 9 week old puppy who needed a new home - gosh, we were so tempted.... but I had a bad morning in the park with Elkie at the puppy classes doing recall (or not, as was the case!) so not a good idea! Anyway, we had a lovely afternoon and it was good experience for Elkie. Very Happy

That sounds like you had a great time Chris. And indeed we all seam to be suffering with the Deaf to recal syndrome. Fun isn't it.

Sorry to change topic. Chris, do you get many people thinking Elkie is a GSD or Collie. I had one guy pretty much tell me I was wrong when I said Diesel's parantage insisting that I had some Collie cross. Haha. The amount of so called ' Know it all's' that we come across is amazing.

Will do Claire. I didn't know about this one until early this week as we've been away and I missed the advertising for it. It is an annual event so definetely meet up next year for it!

Nick, 2 people today asked if Elkie was a belgium shepherd cross. Mostly they think she is a type of alsation. When I have both dogs together people have thought Elkie is Steffi's pup - Steffi is a shepherdXborder collie - sounds familiar!

We've met a gorgeous husky boy at puppy classes. I like his name almost as much as Deisels - it's Kaiser and it really suits him. He and Elkie get on great but they both just run off together!!!! Very Happy
