I know it is a long way off yet but we need to start thinking of ways of improving on our recent show. I think for a start we need to get a new venue with more space as by next year we will have even more people attending. Also I will be asking for volunteers to help out. Someone who is good at photography (camera supplied) as we forgot to take group pics etc this year, and by the time we started taking pics most had gone home, someone on the food, someone on the entrance taking the money, asking if everyone who comes could bring with them a raffle prize. We really need to boost funds and need ideas. Also I thought perhaps we should sell some Tamaskan items at the show as one or two people asked about our bumper stickers etc.

If you could all have a think please and let me know what you come up with. Also thought of a bucket for the donations on display so everyone sees it. It cost quite a lot to put on with all the raffle prizes, rosettes, printing, food and drink etc and we need to make as much money as possible for our Club and rescue. We will possibly have to pay next year for a new venue and it wont be that cheap.

If anyone has any dates that they cant do next year please let me know so that we can try to arrange the date when everyone is free.

Oh forgot to mention. We will also have more classes on next year and some for beginners obedience just for fun. This gives you plenty of time to get some training in!!

Next years judge will be judging more on the lines of a Kennel Club show as we will have more dogs in the classes. This will involve the dog standing nice and still and having its teeth checked, testicle check for the boys, moving nicely up and down and round the ring and standing all facing the same way in the line up for final judging. Once again we will have nice rosettes on offer and a Trophy for Best In Show.

well am handy with a camera might get sum pics to paint for cards for following year show or to go with say tea shitrs etc etc. all the proceeds from the cards will be for the tamaskan club etc of course i hav all the fun in the painting.and camera shot taking, i love taking photos. just an idea. may do wolfy paintings to go on tea shirts or cud hav tamaskan painting tea shirts or maybe u might find me something else to do. ha ha whoo better start painting now then ha ha rann loves getting covered in paint. when he sees a fineshed painting and reacts to it. then i know its ok ha ha. yes will bring doggy raffle or whatever. the cards could be xsmas ones. there could be photo cards too lovable tamaskan ones. say all the lovely puppies around. that could help to start the ball rolling for ideas. yes woof. hav a night in the howl! the what . the howl!!!! someone think what that might be then howl as in drink,or howl as in the meeting of minds. over to you......... :

I know a company that supplies T Shirts with ink print of any picture, I'm sure he will do them at a brilliant price and you could sell them for a little extra at the show so all money made will go to the Club/Tamaskan society etc just a suggestion

Is there any chance of doing the show a liitle down the middle of the country, as being based in Cornwall! can be a trek lol thats just a suggestion too, however I am in the middle of trying to purchase a piece of land beside the house which if i get would be willing to use it but that means everyone will have to come to the deep deep south lol

The only reason that we had the first show here at Jenny's place is that she has the land and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Meanwhile we have people travelling all the way down from Scotland and then those who live in the South coming up. Where we are based is in Cheshire which is more or less in the centre of the country and the main motorway practically runs past the door at just 3 mins away for both of us. As it was so successful we held the next one there too. I dont mind us moving the venue at all as both of us are well used to travelling length and breadth of the country to dog shows every week but we have to consider everyone and I think the centre of the country is fair to all. Those that live close by are just the lucky ones I guess but we are open to suggestions. I think Cornwall although gorgeous is not good for those who live right up in Scotland. We are lucky as we are on the motorway network and can get up and down to shows very easily from here in Cheshire.
