Hi, I just thought I would take this opportunity to say Hi, introduce myself and say how much I have come to love this magnificant breed.

I currently live in Oxfordshire with my husband and two dogs: a 6 year old Siberian Husky, Spirit and 14 year old 3 legged labrador called Sandy. I have been looking for a new pack mate for Spirit over the last few months since Sandy's operation as now Spirit doesn't have anyone to play with any more.

I have been researching various "wolf breeds" (Tamaskan, Utonagan etc) and it is safe to say I have fallen hook line and sinker for the Tamaskan's Laughing

After thinking carefully I think a 1-3 year old bitch will probably be best for my pack. Another male may be too much testosterone so to speak Very Happy I have a soft spot for rescue's

Any way just thought id say Hi *wave*

Question: Why is the husky wearing an x-back harness but with a flex-line?

They are lovely dogs!

The line was twisted so we unhooked him and attached him to the labs extendable while we sorted it out. Rolling Eyes

You have lovely dogs! Spirit is a lovely name too, it was on my original shortlist!

I'm not sure where in Oxfordshire you live, but I live in Wiltshire, if you wanted to meet a Tamaskan in the fur, I'm sure we could arrange to meet up Very Happy

Hello and welcome.
Once again those are very nice dogs, I hope Sandy is coping all right...

(I happen to be in Oxford now and during term-time, though no dogs sadly...)

If you are looking for a 1-3 year old bitch, to add to your pack, you should read the 'For Sale' topic. Blufawn has a lovely girl named Vixen for rehoming. You could ask Jennie (of Blufawn) more about her if you are interested. Hope this helps..

Dawn.

Sorry Vixen was spoken for within hours of her going on the site. Jenny forgot to take her off.
