[I tried posting earlier but for some reason the post was not accepted.]
Hello everyone! I must say I am completely overwhelmed by this beautiful and wonderful animal the Tamaskan! I recently discovered this breed when a friend of mine sent me an email with a link to the official tamaskan site attatched to it. I have to admit, the second I layed eyes on this dog I instantly fell in love with it. A wolf dog without the wolf! Who would have thought?
While I'm here I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I just graduated highschool and am now enrolled in college to become a Vet Assistant. I will have my certificate in April I must say I'm looking forward to it. I am female, I say this up front for the fact alot of people tend to think I'm male when I'm on the internet. Must have something to do with the way I write sometimes, its rather amusing actually.
I am an advide animal lover I've always loved animals thought-out my entire life and have always strived to have some kind of animal in the house. I've had over the years; two dogs, a rabbit, hamster, four gerbils, more fish than I can count, fostered 3 puppies, and fostered a cat. I was never allowed to have reptiles for the fact my mother is a little afraid of them. As of right now I have two gerbils, both are female and are going on two years of age, I love them to death and my grandmother likes to jokingly refer to them as her great grand children.
Everyone in my family has had pets growing up and when they left home. I'm hoping to find a canine companion for myself within the next year or so and I'm hoping a tamaskan will be a good match considering what I've researched about them so far.
It's great to be here everyone! And great to meet all of you. _________________

Welcome! Where are you from? It's always interesting to see where the Tamaskan-love has spread. |

My sentiments exactly. Could people just please give us all some idea of where you live. IF you are not happy then USA, Europe, UK will do.
Thanks. |
