TAMASKAN DOG FORUM

I am not really new on this forum, I have been looking around for quite a while, reading through most of the threads, but now decided it's time to say hi and introduce myself and my little family. Smile

I come from Sweden, but moved to England a few months ago, leaving my old beloved mongrel Tamlin with my mum, but after a while we went on a road trip to Sweden to get him and now he is living here with us. I just couldn't be without him.

Dogs have always meant much to me. My dad told me stories of me leading his big doberman-rottweiler cross around the house when I was 3 and bossing him around.. Mum got Tamlin for me when I was 13 and since then I have been dog obsessed. Today I am a certified general obedience and agility trainer. I do not currently teach, but am hoping to learn more and in the future run my own business.
But enough about me:

The tamaskan really is a spectacular breed and 7 weeks ago me and my partner Dave picked our little beautiful Ookami up from Alba in Scotland.
It is an 8 hour drive from where we live, and he was howling a bit on the way home, but soon settled down on my lap and slept most of the journey.

Hope you enjoy meeting all Ookami's relatives.
He is a lovely looking boy and looks very much like his brother who is also on the forum.
I love Tamlin as well, a really shaggy dog, I like a dog with hair

He has an older brother, Blaze, who belongs to Tarheel kennels in America.
He also has another older brother, Sampo in Germany, you can see pictures of both dogs in the gallery section.

He also has a half brother and sister (same father)
Otto, who he looks very like but who is a month older and Luna from the same litter as Otto, you can find these dogs in the gallery too

Oh yes, I knew about Blaze and Sampo. They are very handsome boys. Smile

I have a feeling Ookami will look very much like Blaze as he gets older.
Very dark like their father.

Ah, Luna is so unique and pretty, and Otto is very handsome indeed. I see what you mean about him and Ookami looking alike! Smile

I have been trying to guess what Ooki is going to look like as an adult since he was 5 weeks old, looking at his relatives and so on, but it is no use. *laughs* He changes so much all te time , so I will just have to be patient and see when he is older. Wink
