Hey guys i'm from Australia and already in love with Tamaskan's, not really much else to say Razz

I've only discovered the breed in the past couple of days but fell in love immediately. I'm still looking for info about them, particulary if and when they will be available in Australia.

Anyway, thanks 4 reading and hope to see you all around > Very Happy

edit: probably thought i should mention i have a 1 and a half year old pure bred black labrador (Sumo) who hopefully one day has a Tamaskan buddy 2 play with Very Happy

Welcome to our forum. I have exported to both Aus and New Zealand in the past but not Tamaskan. There is however a lovely lady in Aus called Bina (Ancient Trails) who can be found on our TDR website. She is wanting to import and it may be nice if you had a chat with her. I have had several enquiries from Aus this past few months. I think the main thing stopping people is the cost being such a long haul and also all the blood testing etc that the pup has to go through all adding to the cost. It can be done though and lots of Australians do import breeds from the UK especially the 'show' people. It may be worth getting intouch with some of those type of people for tips Smile

One of my favorite animals of all time is the Thylacine. I always wanted to work on the DNA project to help bring them back--kinda far away though (on the other side of the world Laughing

) Have you been to Tazmania? As a very young girl I saw the cartoon "Dot and the Kangaroo" and have wanted to visit Australia ever since.
