Hi all!
My husband was recently told about this breed and I have since fallen in love with them! We live in the sticks of Massachusetts and have a cat, dog(mal/lab mix) and an almost five year old son. We hope to add a Tamaskan to our family when my husband returns from his next deployment.
I have been doing my research on the breed and am all ears to anything anyone can tell me about their own dogs. |

Welcome to this forum! Everyone is nice and respectful! Sorry (and honored) that your husband is deployed! Thank you for your service (as a military spouse) and your husband's service! My son is in Iraq and is due to come home in early 2010....
Take Care!!! |

Just a thought if you are serious about obaining a Tamaskan. You would need to get on someone's waiting list as when the time comes that you are ready, chance is that there will be none available. I have only just cleared my list with some being on for over a year. I am now taking bookings for 2010. |

thanks blustag! we've put our name on tarheel's list, and if it takes a couple years to get a tamaskan it will be well worth it. i have been obsessed with the breed since my husband told me about them he is going to get to meet the dogs this weekend and i am very jealous but looking forward to hearing about his visit. |
