Sounds like a fantastic Tamaskan home--some space and other dogs to socialize with.
I have a 9 month old Tamaskan, a 1 year old Lab/Australian shepherd mix, 2 tabby cats, and an 11 year old boy (and a husband). All get along just fine. (Coincidently--we're looking for an old farm out in the country. We want chickens someday, too. My husband discovered he's not a city mouse after all...and we want above and beyond the number of dogs allowed in the city (3))
Freyja is very friendly to people and to new dogs she meets. She is eager to please (sits when asked, comes when we ask)--I've been very impressed with her. She mostly responds more quickly than our other dog. (who admittedly is part lab--so will have the 'puppy sillies' for a while...)
Most people are enthralled with her and ask questions. At the very least people stare at her when we walk by (we walk them in the city--so not everyone is talkative to a stranger walking a "wolfy" looking dog). But when we take them hiking or to the multitude of parks around town everyone asks about her. I kind of feel bad for Fenris, our lab mix, always being left out of the conversation. He's really neat looking too (just like a Catahoola leopard dog if you know what they look like).
Overall, Freyja is smart, and silly and happy to be around us. She still follows me around the house and prefers to be in the same room I'm in--even if I'm just working--she lays there patiently--or snuggles. She loves attention and food and stinky treats (like liver treats or chicken or venison...veggies, fruit, eggs, yogurt, pumpkin...she'll eat just about anything). Freyja makes us laugh on a regular basis. She howls when she yawns -- which we find adorable -- and growls when she does a play bow. But other than that is very rarely vocal. If she barks you know she means something is up!
She loves hiking, and is good with off leash recall. She plays with her toys like a coyote or a wolf plays with a mouse: tosses it up in the air, plays with it, shoves it in the couch cushins...she loves chasing Fenris. She does try to play with the cats--but mostly they just tease her. Freyja does like to "correct" the cats when they do something they're not supposed to (just like a mother dog corrects her pups by putting her jaws around the pups muzzle)...but we just end up with cats who have slobbery faces.
And of course she's very good at giving kisses.

We just love our Tamaskan and can't wait to add more to our family.
