Is there any way we could have a search facility or a menu of what we can find and where!
I find really interesting things on both the UK and TDR site, then want to show my husband later on and can't remember where it is!
I've currently lost the Puppies to Adult photo's so I can show him how much they change, I've been looking for days, any help gratefully received!! |

I think you mean the Tamaskan colours page. It is at the link below
Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
I would make a search bit, but there is one problem, I have no idea how! |

Thanks for the colours links!
Maybe a search is too tricky, would a menu with the hyperlinks to the most viewed pages be possible. Obviously not threads, but bits where actual info is held, The Tamaskan Guide could be another useful one, or the breed standards or FAQ's.
There is so much great info that you have created on this site and the TDR that a list of data available for us newbies would be fab. |

Maybe the easiest thing to do would be to create a 'Useful Info' Forum, with a short description and just put the hyperlinks as you did for me with the colours
For Example
Useful Info
Dog Colours - see how puppies and adults differ - Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
Breed Standard - dog.co.uk/Standard/standard.htm
Tamaskan Guide - All you need to know about the breed - Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |

ok, have created a thread in Tamaskan Related Discussions, feel free to add any links you feel should be there.
Or links to anything in particular that you like to do with Tamaskan.. |

Here's a tutorial on how to make the graphics of a search bar, comes with a download of Adobe Photoshop:

The code for an HTML and a Javascript search bar:

Another website that might help with the coding:

Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to have the new posts right on top instead of having to scroll down to be able to read them?
I have seen that on other forums and found it very 'handy' but that's only me....

Sadly this isn't possible unless you are hosting and designing your own forum. This is like a free website, there is only so much I can do with it and the TDR (to which the forum belongs) can't afford to up keep a website and a forum. |

I find it very difficult to get a avatar picture under 0kb because a 999byte file is already extremely small. I'm not sure if it is because of the space available to the free forum hosting, but perhaps the file size limit could be upped to at least 5kb? A 0kb file is a little ridiculous and very difficult (in my opinion) to do. _________________ ~Arie

Has anyone else noticed that the forum has been REALLY slow lately (the past couple of days)?
It seems better today so I'm wondering if perhaps it's just my internet that's been causing the problems or if it's the forum bandwidth getting used up... most strange! |

I am sorry you are having trouble, but there isn't anything I can do, this is not our forum so I can't fix it, all I can do is email the forumup people and ask them to fix it, which I think they are doing. |

Oh I see, thanks for the info. I suppose when I get my puppy I'll be alot more chatty 'cos then I'll have something to say. As it is at the mo, every time I log on and have a look round I go all dreamy with wishful thinking and don't get anything done as well as boring my nearest and dearest with Tamaskan tales. He can't wait 'till I get one either, but so I shut up.
Anyway, thanks for the info, all is now clear.
Looking forward to the BBQ and my first sighting of a Tamaskan in the flesh. |
