There are many differences between these breeds. To begin with all Tamaskan from the very beginning have been dna profiled. All foundation stock and subsequently all breeding stock following have had their hips xrayed meaning that no dogs with poor hip scores have been bred from. The Tamaskan are very consistent in type if you look at the galleries. Check out the galleries for the Utonagan and you will find many different types. Coat lengths, colours, eye colours, ear sizes, body shapes etc etc etc etc. Also many colours allowed in the Utonagan.
Is that a Swiss White Shepherd you have there for your avatar?
