I know they are not Tamaskans but these two sisters need homes! They are beautiful Utonagans. If I lived over there, I would just have to save them. They have been through 3 homes that I know of. Their current situation is that the owners landlord said they could have dogs and now after three months has changed his mind. Crying or Very sad

That is very sad indeed.
I wish I did have the space for more dogs, I would rescue them all. I saw a very sad video about the abuse that some Greenland Dogs are suffering in Greenland, it did make me want to book a flight and bring them all back to my house. Sad

if I read things like this than sometimes I wished I was a millionaire.
Or to say otherwise I wish I could help them all to.
I hope they will get a good home very soon. I will cross my fingers for them.

Oh, this is so sad. I really feel for the owners. I wish I had a bigger house etc. I do hope they find a lovely permanent home soon.

It is very sad that any dog finds itself in this position but then a reputable breeder would have taken them back and looked after them until such time as the right home came along. Far too many breeders turn their backs on the puppies they have bred, and far too many breeders dont bother to screen potential puppy purchasers enough. Im talking about breeders in general now not pointing any fingers here.

No one knows who the breeder is in this case, yet. I guess because they have been shuttled around so much.

Exactly my point. They should have gone back to the breeder when the first person didnt want them. I make sure all my puppy purchasers sign contracts that include them returning the puppy/adult to me if for any reason they have to part with them. Then I would know for sure where they were and in some cases (years ago) have kept them myself to make sure they wernt rehomed again.

You can place dogs in the greatest of homes... or so you think. Bottom line is it is up to ALL involved to make sure any pet is well taken care of. Just can't put all the responsibility/blame on the breeder.

And then it's up to people like all of us to help them out, when everyone else fails them. That's what I was trying to do by posting. Try to save one at a time even though we're thousands of miles away.

Would you be willing to ship to Canada? We are looking to add a Tamaskan or Tamaskan-similar breed to our family.

Hi there. All my family live in Canada, where are you based. I export to most parts of the world with the exception of the Far East and some other countries not known for their love of animals.

I live in beautiful Nova Scotia Smile We had a Czech Wolf dog/Saarloos for literally 3 hours, and fell in love with him. We drove 5 hours to pick him up in New Brunswick, and on the drive back stopped on the side of the road to let him pee. He got spooked by a car and got out of his collar. We spent 3 hours trying to catch him, but he was older and still didn't trust us 100%. We ended up ending our search after 3 hours to head home. The next morning we called everyone in the area and sent them pictures. An RCMP officer ended up calling us and telling us that he was hit and killed by a car Sad We were devastated!
We loved the look of him, and his personality would have suited us perfectly (once we earned his trust). We have decided to stick to a similar breed for a future dog. What do you charge for your dogs?.....what are the shipping fees?

Thanks,

Stephanie
